FAVORITE STOPS
	This is Lauder's Restaurant found on the Strasburg Road (Rt.55) a short drive outside of Front Royal. Lauder's serves breakfast, every day but Monday (when they are closed), and lunch and dinner on weekends. My wife, Vicky, and I stop here for breakfast whenever we are in town. Talk about your hardy breakfast. For a reasonable price you can eat enough to keep you going until dinnertime, and you'll have enough energy to take a hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains (to work off the sausage gravy). Lauders is open Tuesday thru Thursday, 6AM-11AM; Friday, 6AM-7PM; Saturday, 6AM-7PM; and Sunday, 9AM-6PM. Enjoy!!
	This is the Royal Oak Bookstore located at 207 S. Royal Street. A great place to find new and used books. They also offer a book finding service and welcome worldwide mail orders. They are open 7 days a week (Mon.-Sat.--10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Sun.--12 Noon to 5 P.M. Phone No. 703-635-7070). This is a regular stop for my wife, Vicky, and myself.
There are many other attractions and businesses in Front Royal and the Front Royal area that can be found using the links on the left side of this page. The final item included on this page will be the Municipal Park located near the northern end of the city. The park has picnic areas with a small stream (complete with fish) running through it. The park contains a playgroung area for children (pictured below along with lighted athletic fields) including Bing Crosby Stadium, the home of the Front Royal Cardinals Baseball Team. The team plays a short summer season of exciting baseball at reasonable prices (You can take the whole family.)
